Frequently asked questions

Am I ready for a psychedelic ceremony?

Readiness has four sides: medical (medications, conditions), psychological (intention, mental health stability), logistical (time off, support person), and integration (therapist lined up, post-ceremony plan). The ceremony readiness quiz scores all four. A low score in any one is a reason to wait, not a reason to push through.

Is this quiz medical advice?

No. It is a self-assessment to help you ask better questions before a ceremony. Always coordinate with your prescriber and a licensed psychedelic-informed clinician before any session.

What score means I should not go?

Any "high concern" answer in the medical or psychological sections is a stop signal. A low total score also points to deferring. Stronger preparation now leads to a better experience later.

How long should I wait if the quiz says I am not ready?

Most people need 4–8 more weeks of preparation. Use the time to lock in a therapist, finish medication washouts, and complete intention work. See our 14-day preparation guide as a starting point.
